Abstract
By inviting Dr. Pedro Manuel Rodríguez-Suárez, from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, México, as guest editor. And even with his knowledge of the area as a Doctor in European Studies from the University of Warsaw, and his vast experience as an author and coordinator or editor in works as specific as "Towards a new Europe" (2006), "Towards a new Europe II: "The European Union and the new Eastern Europe" (2017) and "The European Union and the new Eastern Europe" (2017). We were unable to measure the hardness with which the SARS-CoV-2 would hit the region under study, and even our countries of origin, Mexico and Chile, and not only the counties but even those close to our team.
The thematic dossier has resulted in a fine selection of themes, with total contingency in the European framework: elections, post-national democracy, the energy relationship with Russia, its structural crises and integration challenges, the role of civil society organizations, the development cooperation, intermestic and multilevel diplomacy and its strategy to face the challenge of disinformation. In summary, 157 pages with a Latin American vision, which we hope our readers really enjoy.
