Abstract

Distance education is acquiring a fundamental relevance in the university context as an alternative destined to develop the classes outside the boundaries of the classroom. Through this research work we have tried to identify the perceptions about the satisfaction of a group of students of the master’s Degree in Education, with respect to the modality as such and the market response to this form of distance academic instruction. The evaluations have focused on 4 graduation promotions, during the period 2010 to 2014. The study had 82 participants drawn from the program. For the data collection an online positive survey form was created to be filled out by the students. The instrument has been shown to present high levels of reliability as well as adequate utility to predict satisfaction. Descriptive analyzes have been carried out and nonparametric as well as parametric tests have been used to validate the instrument. In general, the satisfaction with the program has an average of 93.48%, which is the conclusion of the institution that teaches the degree, is doing in general terms well, taking into account that it must take care of some perceptions that present a Good evaluation, but a downward trend in a clear and sustained way, not easy to reverse if the appropriate measures are not taken at the correct times.
